Our Universe started with a big bang and since then explosions have shaped our history. From the Cambrian explosion that gave Earth all its life to the industrial revolution and the creation of the motor. Join Amadeo and Alice as they travel through space and time to discover the secrets of the Universe. Where do we come from? Where are we going? And how can science and technology help us live in a better world? The show will combine hands-on demonstrations with audio-visual experiences that will immerse the audience in the wonders of science.
A Science Communicator at the Otago Museum, Amadeo will share his passion for all areas of science along with Alice, who is crazy about hip hop and dance, and loves to combine it all with science too. Stars will implode, rockets will be launched, explosive storm clouds will appear, and we will be rocked by an erupting volcano of ping pong balls! Come and enjoy this explosive science show that will blow your mind with lights, lasers, fire and ice!
