FUNKY EDIBLE GARDENS

Kids Funky Edible Gardens - Want to see some ooey gooey worms, squish dirt between your fingers and eat the benefits of your hard work? Learn how to create an edible garden and pot your very own plant  to take home. Help us plant a Winter Garden in our Festival HQ. Bookings essential as places are limited. SCIENCE ROCKS!

Join our keynote Jilly Evans, a "hip" scientist in a 60 minute hands-on interactive workshop for 5-13 year old. There's an “Elements of Surprise” Scavenger hunt and an exciting blow-up puzzle to solve. Everyone will get a Periodic Table of Elements with heaps of chemistry trivia to amaze your friends and family. Bookings essential as spaces are limited.

What do you know about Everyday Science? You don’t have to be a scientist to answer the questions, just bring your family along and give it a go. Daily prizes up for grabs.

SPACESHIP EARTH

Imagine we have to leave Planet Earth and live in a spaceship, travelling through the universe – what do we need on the spaceship? Food, toys, friends, teachers? Come and join this creative and interactive hour long workshop. Suitable for 7-12 year olds. Bookings essential as spaces are limited.
