What you need
- 1 straw
- 1 oblong balloon
- 15-20 feet of string
- tape
How you do it
- Tie one end of the string to a chair, post or tree. Thread a straw through the other end of string and pull the string as tight as possible. Tie the string to another chair, post or tree.
- Blow up the balloon and secure it to the straw using two pieces of tape.
- Release the balloon and watch as it shoots down the line of string.
Tips: have your friend create a rocket balloon and have the balloons race each other to see which one is faster. You can also make your rocket look even cooler - with felt tip markers!
