SCIFEST UPDATES

May 16: We are proud to announce two of our special guests of the festival.

Introducing two of our stars of the festival - Nigel Latta and current NASA Astronaut Stephanie D Wilson. Nigel is a psychologist and TV presenter, and well known for his humorous look at what makes us who we are. Stephanie is a NASA veteran and has been in space for 3 missions (a total of 42 days!), most recently in 2010 on the shuttle Discovery.

Although from completely different backgrounds, both love science and are passionate about sharing it with people.  Whilst here, they will be covering topics as diverse as preparing for and working in the world's most extreme environment, mental toughness, motivayion, our memory and how we cope with pressure!
