Science at the stadium

Thanks to an innovative approach to science, the NZISF and the University of Otago collaborated to bring science to the Forsyth Barr Stadium this winter. As part of the rugby season and the final home game of the Highlanders, NZISF and the chemistry department created an interactive science pop up display to engage kids. Over 150 children and many parents enjoyed learning basic chemistry before match kick-off of to keep them thinking about the world around them. 

The pop up was a huge success and there is talk it could happen again - watch this stage!
