Learn how scientists use animal DNA to make sense of patterns in nature and protect endangered species.
In collaboration with the Genetics Department at Otago University, Orokonui Ecosanctuary brings you “Who Killed the Kiwi?” a hands on murder mystery programme focussing on the role of genetic analysis in conserving the endangered species in New Zealand. Participants are given the opportunity to use trakka tunnels, hair samples and DNA analysis technology to find the culprit!
