Put on your dental detective hats and try out the four interactive dental activities from the Dental School. Learn how to use mirrors to look in the mouth, place a sealant on a tooth, experiment with pH, and learn all about different types of teeth! There will be four stations run by Oral Health students from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago, along with a staff member. There will be a combined introduction, and children will then be sorted into groups of five, and rotate around each activity, spending approximately 10 minutes at each station. The session will conclude with a final group discussion. Parents are welcome to join in and help.
Suitable for kids aged 7 years and over.
