Chris brings to the team a range of skills and experience from many years in marketing and commercial roles and has a diverse background in a range of industries, from sports marketing through to communications and consumer goods. Chris also worked with the previous director Sue Clarke for the 2010 festival in the Associate Director role. Planning is now underway for the 2012 festival, with announcements soon, and Chris is excited about the upcoming festival. “The great thing about being involved with such an event is the community spirit that exists to help bring it all together. The way in which community groups, Universities, Polytechs, volunteers and businesses work together to make it all happen is exciting. There is a real creativity in our city, and the way in which people use their imaginations to create such an awesome experience for people of all ages makes the NZ International Science Festival something special to be a part of "We will be announcing themes soon, and look forward to sharing some of the exciting activities - make sure you keep the 30th June to the 8th of July free!".Chris Green
